Took a trip this morning from Fremantle port, cannot get over the hospitality and attention to detail. We spoke about it all day, the boat is clean and so well presented with refreshments. The experience itself was next to none we all thouroughly enjoyed every minute. We even stayed out a while longer to witness some spectacular whales. From start to finish I cannot recommend this enough. The girls on board were so friendly and really had a passion for what they spoke about. Thank you so much for our enjoyable morning!

I've been whale watching a few times before but my latest tour with Whale Watch Western Australia really took my breath away! The boat was incredibly luxurious (looked to be the nicest of all the competition), the staff were so passionate with their commentary and they clearly had a huge amount of respect for the Whales. Will definitely be coming again soon!

Had a wonderful time at Whale Watch WA last week. The staff, the commentary and the way they treat the whales is just amazing. We left from Fremantle jetty, exactly at 9 and within minutes we had dolphins racing the boat. Within another few minutes, the crew spotted 2 or 3 whale pods - too good, as i thought we may have to go around looking for some time. We could see a calf breaching many times from a distance, but as soon as the boat got close, the whales started moving away. Of course this is no fault of Whale Watch WA - this is nature. They were very respectful to the whales and only approached them very quietly. The crew were very helpful and gave us a very good commentary about the whale's behavior patterns etc. Though we couldn't get very close to the whales (as probably what i pictured in my mind before going... too many Attenborough documentaries :-) ) - it was totally worth it. In the end, we got close enough to literally hear the whale breath.Overall, top notch service, very well maintained boat, comfortable ride (because it's a catamaran, i think) and superb staff. I don't think there is a better whale watch tour group in Perth. 7 stars.

If you think you've seen whales because you've seen a glimmer of a splash, 10km off-shore or from a cruise ship, do yourself a favour- hop on this cruise and go and see them up close ! ! !Jade, Gemma and the family made us feel right at home from the start and have a vast knowledge of everything you ever wanted to know (and everything you didn't know you wanted to know!) 15 minutes into the cruise and all of a sudden, there were whales everywhere ! I'm not talking about splashes in the distance, the ships engine is so quiet that the whales hardly took any notice and came right up close ! Gemma explained each movement and we soon learnt that there were multiple pods of whales that were all slowly migrating south with their new calfs. This area, just off Rottnest island is a bit of a resting area for them so you literally get to spend over two hours watching them frolic around. There must have been easily over 30 whales - with countless spectacular breaches! It truly is an amazing experience and you really can't say you've seen a whale until you see them up close with Whale Watch, Western Australia. - This is one of the best places in the world to see them up close!

This was a great day out and is a must do for locals and tourists. The team are awesome and really put a personal touch on the day with their in depth knowledge. We saw 30+ humpbacks doing their thing about half-way to Rottnest. Plenty of sick jumps, water slaps and tail waves which got the crowd going. I almost struggled to get enough photos of the whales as each time I had the camera ready, there was another pod popping up! The boat is super clean, well maintained and comfortable. We were cruising around 30knots and I could barely tell except for the wind. We had just under 2 hours to follow the whales around and watch them do their thing. 10/10 would recommend

Highly recommend! Amazing hospitality by the crew from start to finish. They have vast knowledge about whales and we were informed on how whales communicate, where they migrate to, their habits, and more. We spotted an amazingly beautiful mother humpback whale and her calf doing their thing. Truly an incredible experience.

I've had the incredible opportunity to jump on board Whale Watch Western Australia to see the beautiful Humpbacks and Southern Rights in Augusta and the amazing Orcas in Bremer Bay. A very well run family owned business. It was our first time watching whales and we caught it in June from Augusta. The crew were very knowledgable and cared well for their customers. Little acts such as bringing blankets out to the bow and even helping with the vomit bags showed they really cared. We spent some time in Flinders Bay looking for groups of whales, while getting commentary on whale and other marine animal behaviour. Highly recommended. The swells were quite large on the day we were out, so be prepared and take some sea sickness pills an hour or two beforehand - it will make a huge diff!

Went on the 2 hour whale watching cruise from Augusta and absolutely loved it. They lived up to their promise and got us super close to a number of humpback whales. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time as well. The boat was super plush which was perfect when the kids needed to warm up or a bit of lie down

Really fantastic trip, highly recommend this family run operation. They're incredibly knowledge and friendly. Our first day out the conditions were quite bad so they let everyone on board come again free of charge. Definitely go!

A spectacular experience by a very professionally run company. The staff were very knowledgable and the commentary engaging, you could tell the lady commentating was enjoying her role, she was fab. It looks like a family company and they are very good at what they do. The boat was very modern and spotless. My photography skills are lacking but one member of staff was taking photos of the action which we were invited to download off the website later that day so I have some great pics of what we saw too.

I am typically meticulous when it comes to customer service/experience, given its a passion that has developed over my career. Many times experiencing impressive service but not to the point where I leave a Google Review. I can say for certain that Whale Watch WA has provided remarkable service.From the start to finish, every staff member ensured patrons are comfortable and enjoying their experience. They made it obvious how they differentiate themselves and take pride in being a local and family run business. Running their business for years, you can see they establish a genuine and quality relationships with the dolphins and whales. Two competitors continuously followed us during the experience as the mother and calf whale stayed near us and gave a wonderful sight to see.One suggestion I have is perhaps your top boat handrails could be wiped down as some felt sticky to touch and hold.In particular, thank you very much for the experience Leanne, it was extremely nice chatting with you and giving us an informative session. Will definitely be back for the Orca's! Merry Christmas in advance to you, your family and Whale Watch.

A real hidden treasure close to home. The boat was so comfortable and well set up to go out with kids. Nice touches to have the tea and coffee station to self serve. We were amazed by the variety of behaviours displayed by the whales we saw and learned a lot. The staff were so friendly and professional. Excellent value. We will be going out again to see the blue whale, what an amazing thing to be able to do!

Had an amazing time in Bremer Bay with these guys. Saw so many pods of Orcas and lots of seabirds. Great value for what you get, excellent boat (Huge), great food (free flow throughout the day-what a bonus!) And the crrews were so friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Whale Watch Western Australia for letting us join the Pods ;)
