The epic migration is over 13,000 klms without feeding relying on fat stores from Antarctica to the Kimberly's and return, mother's with calf in tow nurturing them all the way.
The most acrobatic of our magnificent Western Australian cetacean species the Humpback Whale is truely a miracle in oceanic migration of any species on earth.

LEARN THE LANGUAGE OF THE WHALES
Whale Watch experts will guide you through the cruise with in-depth knowledge of the whales as they pair up with their partners on the journey north and their return migration south with new born calves. Our journey will take us from the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour to the sighting grounds located just off Rottnest Island as we spend the morning learning about and interaction with the Humpback Whales of Western Australia. Learn the Language of the Whales from our LIVE expert commentary as you are inspired by the beauty of Western Australia's Whales and Indian Ocean to create your masterpiece later in the afternoon.

Join renowned local artist Cindy Lane who is an award winning artist and illustrator living by the beach in sunny Perth, Australia. The inspiration for Cindy’s work began in early childhood, with a deep curiosity for the natural world and it’s inhabitants. Honing her artistic skills at James Cook University, Cindy graduated in 2009 and subsequently began a career as an artist, illustrator and tutor. She is currently furthering her arts study at Curtin University, whilst expanding her artistic practice. Working in watercolor, acrylic paint, pastels, ink and pencils, Cindy’s pieces instill a sense of magic and wonder, and have been published and licensed around the world. Her work is held in private, corporate and government collections.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE
- We recommend taking motion sickness medication the night prior and on the morning of your tour if you are susceptible. (Please consult your Doctor)
- Warm jacket in all weather conditions is advisable.
- Tours are weather dependent so when possible be flexible in planning your travel date.
- Personal camera if required (Professional photographer is onboard)
