Easter Orca Tours in Bremer Bay

Whale Watch Western Australia
Easter Orca tours in Bremer Bay are a wonderful way to spend time in this spectacular region and meet our oceans apex predators. Today the Bremer Bay Boat Harbour was a hive of activity with many gathering to enjoy the lovely weather conditions forecast today and make the most of hopefully some good fishing. Our first sighting was an exciting one as a familiar blow was sighted by Charlotte, we had an early migrating Humpback Whale! Shy and reserved which is understandable along this coastline, we were relieved to see this youngster maintaining a low profile while moving westbound. Soon there will be many more Humpback Whale friends to enjoy the migration with but for now it is best to maintain a low profile in Orca territory.

Arriving in The Patch we were welcomed by Wonks, Stormy and Opal who were having a morning of fun and wrestles. It is always wonderful to witness this play and social time amongst pod members as usually much of their days are spent foraging which takes a lot of focus and discipline. This morning was all about fun though as the boys pivoted and rolled, lifting each other up above the waters surface before chasing downwards leaving white water flying. The wrestling was intense and a lot of fun to witness as they would often come over and make sure we were part of the fun. Matriarch Queen also made sure to visit us as she collected her family members and they reverted to their stealthy forage mode. Amazing to watch the different behaviours and activities that can be observed with time spent travelling with the Orca.
