The Southern Rights were waving, Humpbacks playing and Bottlenose Dolphins foraging as we approached the weekend. A calm and peaceful morning before the storm and our whales were making the most of this good weather and preparing for a very windy weekend! Two young male Humpbacks were curiously checking out their surrounds before returning back to their “wrestle” play session which was very entertaining to watch.
Mother Southern Rights were busily feeding calves and resting up before the expected stronger swell which will cause them to move a bit further off the beach and even look to shelter closer to the reef line, not that the calves seem too bothered about their upcoming adventure! Sunday is looking very nice and our whales will be waiting for this rough weather to pass and looking forward to some calm weather on Sunday☀
