Western Australian Orca

The Western Australian Orca were enjoying the beautiful sunny day out in the Bremer Canyon and upon our arrival we were surrounded by hungry Shearwaters and Albatross… their excitement meant that the Orca were not too far away. Sure enough just ahead the tall, black dorsal fin of a male Orca appeared from the Southern Ocean and we were once again in the hunt! We spent our day observing the behaviour of the Western Australian Orca as they foraged, slept, socialised and it was a joy to see Flapper and her calf Stormy once again along with Slater, El Notcho and Split Tip. The crystal clear water underneath us reflected the beautiful markings of the Orca as we watched their shadows race below the surface before a large exhalation erupted for all to hear.
